The ancestors of Nelliakattu Mana inherited knowledge and skills in the Ayurveda eye care sector from Maharshi Parashurama which was handed down through centuries. The Ayurvedic physicians of the Nelliakattu Mana later became professionally qualified doctors with years of clinical experience and expertise.
